The Requirements:

     Experience in the Alarm Industry as an Installer or Service Technician (especially with Ademco and
     ITI), OR in a related field, including Electrical, Communications, or equivalent Military experience.
     Must possess a valid drivers license and have a reliable vehicle suitable for transporting tools and
     materials to job sites.
     Must have own tools. Click here for a complete list.
     Must be available Mon-Sat and able to work flexible hours.
     Must NOT have any felony convictions.
     Must possess good customer service skills.
     Must be reliable

Minimum Tool Requirements for Installation Techs
  
(must have complete list within two weeks of hire)

     *Multimeter, Analog or Digital, able to read AC/DC Volts, and Resistance

    * Drill, Corded or Cordless (recommend 2 battery packs if cordless)

    * Ladder, 4'-6' step

     *Wire Strippers, for gauges 16-22 (wires are NOT to be stripped with pliers, this nicks wires
     and causes wire breaks)

     Terminal Crimpers for sta-kon terminals and B-connectors (lineman's pliers are acceptable)

     T-25 Stapler, or equivalent wire stapler

     Wire Fish or Push-pull rods (glo-rods, creepzit)

     Screwdriver, #1 Philips

     Screwdriver, #2 Philips

     Screwdriver, 1/4” flat blade

     Screwdriver, 1/8” flat blade

     Hammer

     Flashlight

     Sheetrock Saw

     Bits, 3/8” spade, 3/4” spade, 1/8” steel, 3/8” steel, masonry bit for anchors, bell hanger or flex
     bits, 3/4' hole saw.
