Chef William
William Cornelius is the Executive Chef of
Logan Ridge Wine Cellars, and Media Chef for Glenora Wine
Cellars.
Cornelius, affectionately known as Chef William, has been
a familiar cooking guru in the Elmira and Syracuse areas for the
past three years. This
is due to the morning cooking segments he presents on ABC,
NewsChannel 36 and CBS, WTVH Channel 5 in those markets,
respectively. He will
continue to present recipes on the two morning shows while
representing Glenora Wine Cellars and promoting Finger Lakes Wine
Country. Cooking with
wine is his forte, and he always pairs his stunning culinary
creations with a Finger Lakes wine.
Cornelius is a native of Syracuse, NY. After owning his own
restaurant in Lakeville, Ohio and working at the Wooster Inn, he
moved to the Finger Lakes region and has held Executive Chef
positions at Pierces 1894 Restaurant and The Ginny Lee Café at
Wagner Vineyards.
Cornelius has attended culinary short courses up and down the
east coast, including “Flavor Dynamics” at the Culinary Institute of
America, The Brunswick Baking School, and Parker Bosley’s Fine
Dining Course Study.
